Wednesday Afternoons

Wednesday afternoons are the highlight of Joseph's week. Wednesday is rubbish collection day for us and Joseph loves nothing more than to watch the rubbish truck go past and collect the bins. Standing at the front door and watching the truck used to be enough, but that's not good enough anymore and we have to park ourselves in the front yard and watch them go past. Then we go inside. Then we go back out again when the truck comes down the other side of the street. And if it's recycling week we go through that whole routine twice more. This is the reason why not much gets done around here on Wednesday afternoons. The drivers are all very obliging and wave to Joseph and beep their horns....we really need to get out more....
