Joseph has now reached nine months. He'll a very busy little boy spending all of his time commando crawling around the house- he hates to sit still. Joseph hasn't progressed to real crawling yet and is showing less and less interest in getting up on his knees- seems like he's found his most effective way to get around for now. Joseph has six teeth now and has just started feeding himself a few finger foods. Joseph has also recently discovered a fondness for ear piercing squeals-I hope that this is just a passing fad.
Nine months
Joseph still enjoys weighing himself about ten times a day. Maybe I watched too much of the Biggest Loser while pregnant.....
After a hard morning of playing and crawling, Joseph has stopped for a quick rest in Oprah's bed.
Joseph loves sitting on Daddy's shoulders. In this photo it looks lke he's just realised that when he does finally get hair it will likely be grey.....
Our friends Donnah and Paul have been living overseas for a year, so when they were back on holidays they were able to meet Joseph. Here's Emily with Joseph. 
Joseph has his first try on a jumping castle at Claudia's birthday party- he was not a fan at all, but Dad liked it and wouldn't let the little kids back on.
Joseph will not leave Oprah alone and torments her endlessly in his awake hours. Poor Oprah longs for the good old days when he couldn't move, or possibly even when she was the only child.
