Ten Months

It's hard for me to believe, but this young lady is now ten months old.

It might be the last month that we take photos on the red chair- I am not so comfortable with the standing on the chair.

...and really not comfortable with the standing on the chair and not holding on. (I took the photo as I ran to catch her as she fell off- the things I do for this blog!)

Elizabeth is proving to follow in her brother's footsteps and likes to get into everything and is starting to discover cupboards, the fridge magnets, and especially the dishwasher.

Elizabeth is aways standing now and loves to cruise around the furniture. Now that she's upright a lot of the time, even Joseph comments on how tall she is.

Father's Day

A few pics from Father's Day...better late than never.

Can you feel the love? Joseph is opening Daddy's presents for him, and Elizabeth is showing her love by poking out his eye. Happy Father's Day!
We took Daddy and Nonno out for lunch at The Norman.

Elizabeth was happy to actually leave the house and see the outside world for a change.

Not wanting Nonno to feel left out, Elizabeth gives him one of her special Father's Day eye pokes, with an added nose squeeze for good measure.

Adventures in Toilet Training

So far we've learned that the Barrett male desire to put their undies on their heads and run around naked is either innate or learned at a very young age...

A few firsts

A few weekends ago we had our first scorching day of the summer (in August mind you!). So we headed outside to cool off.....

Joseph gave Elizabeth her first taste of watermelon.....

She was not so thrilled....

Elizabeth had her first try at crawling on the grass....

I like this better than watermelon!

Another first....Elizabeth discovers that we live under the flight path
