Eleven Months Old

Like most babies, Joseph was born with the knowledge of where to find the tupperware drawer.

Who says that men don't know what to do with the laundry basket?

While we were at Caloundra, Joseph had his first bath in the 'big' bath and loved it.



Although he preferred lying in it and doing a bit of freestyle, rather than sitting up.

Joseph will crawl occasionally, but it requires a lot of concentration as you can see by the look on his face....

....but not as much concentration as the backyard baby yoga requires. (Joseph has also taken to carrying around one of Dad's hankies. He must have it to sleep, and usually has it close by during the day- if only he could learn to blow his nose on it!)

Joseph is at that age where he gets into absolutely everything and doesn't stay still for more than two seconds....

Climbing into the bottom shelf of his change table is a favourite of Joseph's- he loves to get in there and destroy his nappies.

Holidays at Caloundra

We've just come back from ten days at Caloundra. As usual, Joseph had a great time playing at the beach and ate as much sand as he could.

Joseph is in love with the stuffed cow that he found in a gift shop in Kenilworth and will rarely let it out of his sight. We used to question who bought the crap that you find in gift shops...well now we know.

Joseph keeps practising his standing, but will not 'cruise' too much yet.

Happy Father's Day

Today Joseph helped Dad to celebrate his very first Father's Day. Joseph didn't really pull his weight in cooking breakfast or lunch for Dad, but he made up for it with plenty of play time and laughs and cuddles.

Brendan had Friday afternoon off work, so we went out on the boat to give Joseph his first taste of fishing.
