Ten Months Old.....

At ten months old, Joseph is a busy little boy. He's into everything and full of mischief. He likes to practise his standing and will pull himself up on everything. Joseph has also just started to clap and wave in the last week, so he thinks he's very clever. He is also a bit of a chatterbox, but only Oprah can understand what he's saying.

Not too interested in sitting for his ten month photo- he's more interested in reading his book. He loves to turn the pages, usually when we're mid-sentence. Luckily we know all of his books word perfect by now.

Joseph's got wheels...

Our friends Lu and Dave recently lent us their son Finlay's walker for Joseph to try out...and he loves it! Joseph really thinks that he can walk now and manouvers his little car around the house- literally bouncing of the walls. Because he stands in it he can see a whole new level & has found a lot of interesting things to steal off the coffee table.

Joseph has taken a liking to talking on his phone and texting whilst driving, so we don't think he'll have his licence for too long!!

A new trick....

This afternoon, Joseph was practising his kneeling on the kitchen stools when he pulled himself up to standing. He's been able to stand for a while, but only if we put him in that position holding on to something or if he pulls himself up on one of us, so getting into the position all by himself was a first. He managed to hold himself there for about 20 seconds before taking a tumble and doing it all over again for the camera.
